Ministry Coordinator

Full-time position (40 hrs. / wk.)


Primary Role:

This position supports the Church through the coordination of missions endeavors and intentionally connecting HBC members to community groups and volunteer opportunities. This position also includes the management of all HBC media, IT, and electronic communication.

Missions and Membership Coordination

This position includes the coordination of Heritage members into community groups, and towards volunteer opportunities. This will more effectively allow Heritage to ‘make disciples’ both here and ‘around the world.’ This position will also help to facilitate all local, national, and international missions.


  • Partner with Heritage leadership to coordinate small group and volunteer engagement.
  • Creatively engage Heritage membership in volunteer and community group enrollment
  • Collaborate with ministry leaders to better communicate Heritage volunteer opportunities
  • Collaborate with group leaders to meaningfully guide Heritage members into small groups
  • Aid in the recruitment and training of Heritage volunteers and group leaders
  • Track CG metrics and data (attendance, membership, etc.)
  • Partner with Heritage leadership to coordinate and support all Heritage mission endeavors.
  • Serve as a staff liaison for HBC missionaries
  • Provide support and organization for the planning of future mission trips
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a strategic vision for our local and international missions


Media and Technology

This position will partner with Heritage leadership in shaping the vision, implementation, and direction of all digital Heritage technology use and communication.


  • Oversee the strategic engagement of the Heritage congregation in the use of all digital media
    platforms
  • Oversee Heritage website and Heritage Church apps (Subsplash, Church Center)
  • Oversee Heritage Social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
  • Oversee all media assets (advertisements, photos, videos, etc.)
  • Oversee all other Heritage media resources to better connect us to our congregation
  • Oversee all internal use of software and technology
  • Software and other related applications
  • Planning Center Online
  • Microsoft Applications (relevant to Heritage)
  • Give direction to the utilization of other software and services as needed
  • Hardware and other devices
  • Partnering with our Technical Support vendor(s) to support how our technology
    aids in the ministry of our Church
  • Overseeing the use of all displays, projectors, and other visual equipment
  • Overseeing the use of all networking devices and equipment that provides our digital infrastructure
